Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Psychology and Educational Studies (IJPES) publishes original research articles, review studies, meta-analyses, methodological papers, and theoretical contributions in the fields of psychology and education.

Before submission, authors should ensure that their manuscripts comply with the following requirements:

• Manuscripts must be written in English and should not exceed 8,000 words. Qualitative and mixed-method studies may be considered up to 10,000 words when justified by the scope of the study.

• All submissions must be prepared using the current IJPES Manuscript Template and follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th Edition.

• The manuscript must be anonymized for double-blind peer review. Author names, affiliations, ORCID IDs, acknowledgements, funding information, and any identifying information should be provided only in the separate Title Page file.

• Manuscripts should include an abstract (150–250 words) and 3–5 keywords.

• Tables and figures should be embedded within the text, numbered consecutively, and prepared according to APA 7 guidelines.

• References must be complete, accurate, and formatted according to APA 7 style.

• Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted materials, figures, tables, or other content when necessary.

• All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software (iThenticate). Manuscripts exhibiting plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical research practices will be rejected.

• Studies involving human participants must include information regarding ethical approval, informed consent, and compliance with relevant ethical standards.

• Authors must disclose any funding sources, conflicts of interest, data availability statements, and the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools, if applicable.

Detailed submission requirements, manuscript templates, and policies are available on the journal website.
