Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between teacher leadership and organizational change based on teachers' views. The study aims to reveal how teacher leadership behaviors influence organizational change processes in schools. To this end, the current study employed basic qualitative research methods. The study group consisted of 32 teachers working in three different secondary schools in the province of Amasya. Data were collected using a semi-structured interview form developed with expert opinions. Face-to-face interviews were conducted to determine teachers' views on how teacher leadership behaviors influence organizational change processes in schools. Participant approval was obtained after the data collection process. The study concluded that teachers define teacher leadership as a multidimensional phenomenon and that it directly contributes to organizational change processes. The findings indicate that the leadership behaviors exhibited by teachers significantly increase a school's adaptability to change. In this context, it was concluded that schools' successful management of change processes depends on the support and strengthening of teacher leadership.
