Significant errors identified after publication are promptly reported to the editorial office.

Ethical misconduct may result in manuscript rejection, retraction, notification of relevant institutions, or other actions consistent with COPE recommendations.
Reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the scientific quality of the journal. Reviewers are expected to:
Evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and constructively.
Assess manuscripts solely on their scholarly merit.
Maintain the confidentiality of all manuscript related information.
Disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest.
Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe.
Provide evidence based recommendations and professional feedback.
Notify the editor of any suspected ethical concerns or research misconduct.
Reviewers must not use information obtained during the review process for personal, professional, or financial advantage.
Editors are responsible for safeguarding the integrity of the publication process. Editors are expected to:
Make publication decisions based on scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance.
Ensure a fair, unbiased, and confidential peer review process.
Protect the confidentiality of authors, reviewers, and manuscript content.
Manage conflicts of interest appropriately.
Investigate allegations of research misconduct promptly and transparently.
Take corrective actions when ethical concerns arise.
Editorial decisions are independent of commercial, institutional, or political interests.
Research involving human participants must comply with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and applicable institutional and national ethical standards.
Authors must provide information regarding:
Ethics committee or institutional review board approval, where required;
Informed consent procedures;
Protection of participant confidentiality and privacy.
The editorial office reserves the right to request supporting ethical documentation at any stage of the review or publication process.
Authors must disclose the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) or AI assisted technologies in the preparation of their manuscripts.
AI tools may be used for purposes such as language editing, grammar checking, translation assistance, coding support, or data organization. However, authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, interpretation, and integrity of all submitted content.
Artificial intelligence systems cannot be listed as authors or co authors.
All manuscripts submitted to IJPES are screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer review process.
Manuscripts exhibiting plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other forms of unethical overlap may be rejected without external review. Similarity reports are evaluated based on the nature, extent, and context of overlap rather than on a fixed numerical threshold.
When significant errors, ethical concerns, or research misconduct are identified after publication, IJPES may publish:
Corrections (Errata or Corrigenda)
Expressions of Concern
Retractions
Such actions are undertaken in accordance with COPE guidelines and international publishing standards.
IJPES supports transparency, reproducibility, and openness in research.
Authors are encouraged to make research data, materials, instruments, and analytical procedures available whenever possible. Editors may request access to supporting data during the review process when necessary to verify reported findings.
Authors may appeal editorial decisions or submit complaints regarding editorial processes, publication ethics, or peer review procedures.
All appeals and complaints are handled fairly, impartially, confidentially, and in accordance with COPE guidelines.
